Job Description

This is a remote position.

• Develop and maintain the "Communicator" application, ensuring it functions as an effective interface between the existing roadside system and customers backoffice software.
• Implement core sub-components including:
• Request and Change System Parameters: Manage and modify device settings.
• Case/Incident Extraction: Extract and process incident data.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Implement real-time monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
• Ensure the application runs efficiently as a Windows service on Windows machines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the Communicator with existing systems and enhance its functionality.
• Utilize REST APIs for most of the communication between systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C++14 or later with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Windows services and system-level programming.
• Experience with REST APIs for system communication.
• Familiarity with data processing and communication protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with POLISCAN systems or similar roadside enforcement technologies.
• Knowledge of IT systems designed for evidence collection and processing.
• Familiarity with C++ libraries and tools such as Boost, and REST SDK.
• Experience with development tools like Visual Studio, Git
