The Customer Growth team helps drive Redfins business by turning website visitors into active home buyers, sellers, and mortgage customers. We run fast-paced experiments to understand user behavior, improve how we connect with early-stage searchers, and optimize our contact channels. Our work has a measurable direct impact on the businesss bottom-line and plays a key role in bridging Redfins online experience and in-person service.
The Role
- Design, build, and maintain high-impact features that convert website visitors into home buyers, sellers, and mortgage customers
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, analysts, and other engineers to shape the user journey from first click to customer
- Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on experiments that drive measurable improvements in conversion and engagement
- Own the full lifecycle of features, from technical design and implementation to monitoring and optimization
- Help shape the teams technical direction and contribute to decisions around architecture, tooling, and best practices
- Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and foster a culture of learning and collaboration
- 3+ years of professional full-stack software development experience specifically in React and Java
- Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle ambiguity, and empathize with customers
- Brings a product mindset: curious about user behavior, driven to improve the user experience, and motivated by business impact
- Previous experience working on A/B-experimentation teams a plus

Base Pay Range: $125,800.00 - 170,100.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.
