About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our Data & AI Team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and refining our state-of-the-art Big Data and AI platform, which forms the core of our product offerings. Your expertise will enable us to enhance our AI models, improve data processing pipelines, and ensure seamless integration across our platform.

This position is remote within the United States, with occasional travel to our headquarters as required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence, strong analytical abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts and application developers to deliver innovative solutions that elevate user experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, machine learning, or related roles
• Bachelors degree in data engineering, computer science, machine learning, big data analytics, or a related field
• Proven experience with AI/LLM frameworks such as HuggingFace, OpenAI, etc.
• Hands-on experience with ETLing large datasets, preferably with AI integration in production environments
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory and cloud-based data platforms
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, Numpy, Pandas
• Strong knowledge of SQL, noSQL, and vector/embeddings databases
• Experience with search technologies like ElasticSearch or Cognitive Search
• Server-side development skills in TypeScript
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data and AI models
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies
  
  

Responsibilities

• Train, fine-tune, and deploy advanced AI models to support platform functionalities
• Create, enhance, and maintain Azure-based Big Data platforms and pipelines
• Work with various databases including SQL, noSQL, and vector/embeddings to manage data effectively
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows for data and AI models
• Collaborate with the application team to deliver optimal user experiences and platform performance
• Partner with data analysts to automate data processing and analytical workflows
• Monitor and optimize AI model performance and scalability in production environments
• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and incorporate best practices into platform development
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to align on project goals and deliverables
